Everyone's doing it...

So I don't live near an American Apparel. And everyone always wears their clothes and looks happy and wonderful and I'm left out. Not anymore, I finally ordered this!!

Plus, I got 20% off... (use the promotion code: SHOPNOW08E)

Now I'm looking all over at the cute ways to wear it and dreaming of the things I'll try :)

Happy and 40 dollars less in her pocket,
Andrea

The bombs bursting in air

So this is what I wore yesterday for a BBQ with lots of delicious food, swimming, and funny stories and games.

Sorry the pictures arent the best, I took them in a hurry....

Tank: Target
Skirt: TJ Maxx
Flip Flops: Payless

Not the most creative outfit, but it was cute and functional for the day!

80's Flavor

#84, originally uploaded by sailoralison.

Note to self: Find old Spice Girl/Hanson tape and make sweet 80's necklace

July!

Just a couple of looks, to wear my Steve Madden heels (how I love them, even with the pain they cause)
Dress: Thrifted
Vest: Bitten
Shoes: Steve Madden
Dress: Old Navy
Belt: ?
Shoes: Steve Madden
Inspiration: SJP in the Sex and the city movie. Her studded belt was amazing. I found this belt and thought "why not?"

Hairdos

I'm not very adventurous with my hair. I hardly ever wear it up. I don't really know any cute ways to wear it. I dont even really like wearing it in a ponytail (whats more boring than that?)

But lately all the pretty hairdo's I've been seeing have inspired me....

Rebecca was a recluse always has the most adorable hair:

The first one with the cute Heidi looking hair? So cute, I'll have to try it..... Her instructions on how to get the second hairdo are:

" I do this hairdo or something a lot like it almost everyday It is hard to explain how to do it though. I basically have the hair is three sections and try to get a ton of volume for the top one. After pinning all the sections, I use a pair of hairsticks to keep the sections in place as my hair is very heavy when I do this. "

And if that isn't helpful, we can just stare at it together and dream.... Plus, isn't her hair color amazing?

Next is the Freelancers Fashion Blog who by now everyone has seen this post on how to create the most beautiful retro hair:

This makes me want to go blonde and get tattoos. :)

Other 'dos I'm digging:

So many of these are curly messy beauties....sigh, why is curling hair so time consuming?

Updated Mary Janes

So, I'm really digging the double/triple strapped Mary Janes out lately....

First ran across these on Annabel's Chic blog but...these could make ANY outfit...

Payless just added these. I think they're adorable, but I am really not digging the color! I still kind of want to go and see them in person. Especially since its BOGO right now (gotta love that!)

Steve Madden adding a peep toe into the equation...

Pastel Perfect!
These are the ones I'd go for...

And everyone's favorite, Pandora, rocking the look:
