I'm on the lookout for the perfect plaid or checkered dress for fall. Too bad this one was vintage and thus, sold out. Sigh, I have such great luck. But something about transitioning yellow into fall seems so wonderfully leaf-esque, don't you think? Blend in with nature....

September 5th

I've been such a bad blogger lately, I feel terrible. The weather keeps getting cooler though, which is inspiring! I'm going shopping today for new fall clothes, so hopefully I'll get to post some new outfits/new buys soon (that is, if anyone is still reading this of course)

Today I tried to try a look I've seen many people pull off. Its a large mans shirt paired with a short skirt and a belt. I don't know how I did but this is a really comfy fun outfit I think!

New bag, Work duds

I'm so excited, I finally found a new purse! Also, this is my go-to outfit for work, I fall back on this all the time. I feel cute when I wear it, but still professional enough. It's perfect.

Off to Vacation

I'll miss posting, but hopefully I'll have some pics to post (fashionable or not) when I return!

Before I go, I wandered into the Gap the other day and this beauty greeted me:


I was mostly deterred by the $64 dollar price tag, and the length is a little iffy (I'm a pretty petite 5'2" so this would probably hit below the knee..

So this weekend I'm going on vacation, and while I don't have beautiful vintage suitcases like these to pack with (although I Wish I did) I'm still having a packing dilemma.

My vacation will be 2 days in Portland hanging with the boy and his friends. I'm think I want mostly casual stuff, but possible a few looks that can be transformed into "night" looks too. And then we are spending 2 weeks at his families beach house. So a swimsuit and some light clothing.

Any suggestions?/Ideas?/Advice? I'll post a list once I make one (Its my goal for work today, I think, to work on this list.)

If only my AA dress would get here before then! (I doubt it, I've heard AA is notoriously slow to ship)

You can get away with shorter hemlines when its hot, right?

What I'm wearing to go grab some food and maybe wander around shopping. We'll see where the day takes me...
